Authorities Warn Big Horn Cabin Owners to Protect Cabins

There have been a series of break ins at cabins in the Big Horn Mountains since July 31 2015. Authorities are urging cabin and camper owners to protect your valuables. In four different incidents property has been stolen since July.

Lt. Mark Conrad of the Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office says most of the items taken were chainsaws, firearms, generators and other like items. He says it is unclear if the cases are connected but that geographically the break-ins are close together at Black Mountain Road, Dayton Gulch Road and Nickel Creek.
